What Is Included in Every Job

Not add-ons. This is what the price covers.

01

A free estimate and a written price

We visit the property, look at conditions and give you a plan with materials and a clear number before anything starts.

02

Removal and disposal of the old surface

Old concrete, asphalt or failing pavers come out and leave the site. You are not left with a pile in the driveway.

03

Excavation and a compacted base

Dug to the depth the surface needs, with the aggregate base compacted in lifts. This is the part that decides how long it lasts.

04

Drainage planned before the surface goes down

Pitch away from the house, and a drain line, dry well or catch basin where the water has nowhere else to go.

05

Edge restraint and polymeric sand

Buried restraint around the perimeter and sand swept into the joints, so the field does not creep outward over the years.

06

Cleanup and a walkthrough

The site is cleaned up and we walk the finished work with you before we leave.

Common Questions

Do I need a permit for a patio or a driveway?

It depends on the municipality and on what is being built. Work in the right of way and driveway approaches are the ones that usually get reviewed. We check the current requirements with the city before quoting and pull whatever the project needs.

What happens to the old patio or concrete you take out?

It gets hauled away and disposed of as part of the job. Removal and disposal are in the estimate, not billed separately afterward.

Can you work around an existing pool or deck?

Yes. Pool decks and surrounds are one of the things we install, and we regularly build up to existing structures rather than replacing them.

How disruptive is the work while it is going on?

There is equipment and material on site while we are working, and we stage it to keep access open. The site gets cleaned up at the end, and one crew stays on the job until it is finished rather than starting and disappearing.

Can I see more examples before I decide?

Yes. The portfolio has completed patios, driveways, walkways, walls, kitchens, fire features, lighting and restoration work, grouped by category.
