Brick pavers

Common Questions
Do brick pavers crack the way concrete does?
Not in the same way. A concrete slab is one piece, so when the ground moves the slab cracks. Pavers are individual units with joints between them, so they shift with the ground instead of splitting across the surface.
What maintenance do brick pavers need?
Very little. Sweeping, rinsing them off, and topping up the joint sand every few years. Regular maintenance is what pushes a paver surface well past the twenty five year mark.
What happens if a paver gets damaged years later?
It gets lifted out and replaced. That is the advantage of individual units over a poured slab, and it is a large part of the repair and restoration work we do.
Can you build the whole backyard in one project?
Yes. We are a design and build company, so the patio, the outdoor kitchen, the fire feature, the walls and the planting can all be handled in one project by one crew.
